“Celebrating 2026 International Children's Day” Family Gathering – Happy Healthy Family, Confident Children project

The 2026 International Children's Day Family Gathering for Vietnamese families in Berlin was held in the outdoor space of An der alten Kastanie Nursery School. The program offered a variety of fun, creative, and engaging activities for both children and parents. Children took part in the interactive play "Watering the Plants to Save Them", enjoyed team games, decorated flower pots with acrylic paints, and planted their own seeds to take home and care for. Families also shared a community meal featuring a wide selection of homemade dishes prepared by parents, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. More than a celebration of International Children's Day, the event encouraged children to develop creativity, teamwork, and a love for nature through hands-on experiences. At the same time, it provided Vietnamese families with meaningful opportunities to connect, strengthen community bonds, and nurture a supportive environment in Berlin.
